Cricket lovers are about to end their long wait. The Asia XI vs World XI cricket match that has been waiting for a long time is about to begin. Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the same day. They said two matches will be played between them and that the game will be held on March 7 and 25.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has organized the game on the occasion of the 8th birthday of Bangabandhu Mojibur Rahman. The two matches will be held at the Sir Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Although the series is only two matches long after, fans will feel the tension between the best eleven in Asia and the best in the rest of the world.
The BCB has requested the BCCI to send at least five players to participate in the match. At first, it was supposed to play cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya but the dates are mixed with the ODI series between India and South Africa so they are less likely to play in this match. However, BCCI sources said Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Shankar, Jaydev Unadkat, Krunal Pandya and Ravichandran Ashwin are going to send the Indian cricket board to Bangladesh.
