Rahat Indori death: Last rites of the celebrated poet at 9.30 pm today

Celebrated poet and lyricist Rahat Indori passed away on August 11 because of heart failure, subsequent to testing positive for the novel coronavirus. He was admitted to the Aurobindo medical clinic in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. He was 70 years of age.

Actor Anupam Kher shared a few lines by the poet to condole his death.

Rahat Indori, 70, was an acclaimed Urdu poet and had also written the lyrics of several Hindi film songs. He also authored many books during his lifetime.
